Read about my Yoga Journey
I have started my yoga journey in 1998 when I accidentally took a yoga book out of shelf in a library.
It wasn’t any of those colourful mainly photo yoga books as you can see nowadays. It was full of writings and sketches and the main thing really was the health and spiritual benefit of the poses. It was originally a corespondence course the yoga students went through before they got to study with Dr. svami Gitananda Giri in India in the 60’s.
Day by day going through the poses, feeling the progress, answering my own questions I got more and more passionate about yoga. I could see and feel the changes happening in my body!
There were times in the last 17 years when I abandoned yoga for weeks and times when I lived yoga 24 hours a day. Therefore I know how it feels like being stiff and starting again. I know how the regular practice can transform your life.
If you ask me why we get on the path and then off it there should be more straightforward answer, but there is not. It is our life, our journey, our choices. Our learning curve. Our karma. Our growth.
The everyday life challenges us. The choices we make are not always the mind, body, spirit nurturing choices. We sometimes make the odd decisions, and that involves relationships, work, food, activities, etc. We need all that in order to learn.
I believe yoga is a therapy and can help you on many levels. Finding yourself and seeing purpose in your life, helps you to stay allert, and present in your body, live in the now, make good choices; and eventually the physical well-being is probably the most seen and acknowledged benefit of yoga.

I have also studied and worked in the past with a whole spectrum of complementary therapies ranging from more physical like Indian Head Massage, Art Therapy (hands, mind and soul in action) to more energy orientated like Quantum Touch, Healing Guided Meditation, Angelic Reiki and Theta Healing.
There is something deep and universal in each healing modality – it is The God, The Universe, The Power, the power of our mind…
I believe in our innate abilty, strength, willpower to heal ourselves if we decide to do so. The perfect mind body connection is everything we need.
Healing can start on the physical level (through nutrition – superfoods, raw food, exercise, avoiding chemicals), energy/mind level (meditations, positive thinking) or even on the spiritual level (following your soul’s purpose, resolving past life isssues, etc). But you do your own research (through the trial and error like I did mine)
Yoga life nurtures mind, body, spirit. Yoga is a way of life. Everything in balance means the ultimate well-being
